Founded in Montreal, and groomed in New York City, Umsteigen bursts upon you like oneiric snapshots from a fairy tale. Susanne Schubert, the creator and designer of Umsteigen, revitalizes traditional clothing like hoodies, tanks and sweatshirts and blows them up into playful works of wearable art.

Made for the discerning woman with a sense of humor and a wink of coyness, Umsteigen's quirky designs hark back to Sunday morning frühstücken at the kitchen table, father reading the Brothers Grimm before bedtime, and the scent of licorice and nutmeg. All designs are limited-edition and individually hand screen printed.

Umsteigen defines the small-scale design-driven fashion house, designed and manufactured in NYC using local resources. To own an Umsteigen is a statement of your individuality, your personality, and your inimitable style. What it comes down to is that Umsteigen is made specifically for you and no one else. Durkl

DURKL is a clothing label that feeds off of absurdity. Our clothing demands attention and keeps you flashy. Inspired by former hilarious trends, 7th grade dances, and the future according to Weird Science, DURKL keeps streetwear honest. Our label thrives on decadence, fun…and because my mom is an aerobics instructor. There are streetwear brands that take themselves way too seriously, and then there is DURKL. DURKL loves bright colors, rare animal skins, big league chew, and dinosaurs. I actually dealt B.L.C when I was in 2nd grade. (Grape and original only though).

We spiked so much damn punch and ran out of rules to break, so we went and found the 4th dimension: DURKL.

Imaginary Foundation

The Imaginary Foundation is a think tank from Switzerland that does experimental research on new ways of thinking and the power of the imagination. They hold dear a belief in human potential and seek progress in all directions. The small clandestine team is headed up by the mysterious "Director" a 70 something uber intellectual who's father founded the Dadaist movement. Avoiding direct publicity the team has sought streetwear as an unlikely vehicle for bringing their ideas beyond the academic realm and into popular culture.

In his vision for the Imaginary Foundation, the Director knew that the human mind has more than one mode, that indeed it has an "ecology" of being. He knew that imagination, intuition, inspiration are basic to psyche. A philosophy of research began to form: imagination as fundamental to all learning; artistic making as a model of integrating vision, materials, structure, and imagery.

The Foundation's basis has been a strong sense of community, free inquiry, creativity, and the experimental spirit. Over the years the Foundation has generated a critical mass of creative people in many different fields, for whom it's been a catalyst for experimentation and innovation.

Gold Coin Clothing is a SF, California based company producing exclusive apparel for exclusive lifestyles. The line was created when a group of long time DJs, graff writers, sneaker heads, and toy fiends had an idea: to make clothing that would represent the streets while still expressing the fun aspects of life. Gold Coin is inspired by all of these interests, along with a little humor. Life is taken too seriously by many. Gold Coin is here to help people stray from this problem.

Gold Coin produces high quality, functional clothing, all the while staying on the next level of design. Each item is numbered; released first and foremost as a piece of art, secondly as a garment. All pieces are very exclusive, manufactured in extremely low quantities. Once the items sell out they will never again be reproduced. Gold Coin is to be sought after and collected.

Jeepney

The Jeepney is a mobile assemblage of signs and decorative motifs found along the streets of Metro Manila. After World War II, surplus American G.I. Jeeps were converted into public utility vehicles and decorated with lavish art and color with each owner's individual, distinct look.

Today, Jeepney clothing has carried this same concept of expression into the apparel world. Our brand represents a unique style that is universal in appeal and crosses over into a diverse mix of genres in the global street culture market.
